"You're so creative!"
I've been hearing this for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I've been endlessly creating - drawings, sculptures, silly songs, recipes...there has never been a time where I haven't had at least one project in the works.
Although I have taken art classes since I was four years old and studied various mediums throughout my life, it wasn't until I turned 30 that I decided that now was the time and I simply had to dive head-first into turning my passion into my career.
I live in Charlestown, MA with my husband, Kevin, and our Instagram-famous French bulldog, Freddie Spaghetti.
frequently asked questions
How do I get in touch to order my own custom piece?
To reserve your space on my calendar, please get in touch with me via email at email@example.com. It’s never too early to save your spot!
Great! I’m on your calendar - how do you get started on my piece?
After your space has been reserved and your invoice has been paid, I will get started on your piece as soon as I’ve received and approved your reference photos. Here are some tips on how to send the best possible photos for me to work from:
Reference photos should be clear and accurately represent the entire image you’d like painted. The quality and detail of the finished painting will greatly depend on the quality of the reference photo you send. Please be sure to take a well-lit, front facing photo of the house during daylight hours.
Unfortunately, I am not able to piece together smaller photos to make one cohesive image. Additional detail shots, however, are always appreciated! A detail shot refers to stonework, unique shingles, etc.

Head-on is usually the best angle.

What’s your turnaround time?
Typically, a painting will be ready within 7-10 days of receiving your approved reference photos. This is subject to change during busy times of the year, but I will always be communicative about realistic completion windows upon booking.
I see a painting in your gallery of custom work that I like - can I order a print?
The only pieces that I offer prints of at this time are the six paintings in my Charlestown series. You can purchase them on my Etsy page!
Will you paint my family?
At this time, I am not offering portraits of people. If you’ve got a family of dogs, though, that’s another story!
I’d like you to paint something that’s not a house or a pet - can you do this?
Most likely, yes! Please use the contact page on my website to get in touch, or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Don’t I remember you painting French Bulldogs on pumpkins and making hand-lettered Christmas ornaments?
Bingo! That was me. Seasonally, I will offer products that are a deviation from my standard watercolor paintings. If you have a special project in mind, or have a suggestion for something that you’d like to see me offer, please do get in touch!
